Just 11 minutes north of I-90 near the Ohio - Pennsylvania state line!
No. Park gates and facilities are closed from November 15th - April 1st. You may enjoy walking in the park and on the beach at any time. Sidewalks and roads are not maintained during the winter months.
Are dogs allowed on the beach?No. Dogs or pets of any kind are not allowed anywhere in the park or on the beach.
Am I allowed to take drift wood and rocks from the beach?Yes, but within reason. There are no vehicles, to include ATVs, allowed on the beach.
When are the bathrooms open?Bathrooms will open each season on May 1st weather permitting. Bathrooms close November 1st.
Can I reserve a pavilion?No. All pavilions are first come, first serve.
When is the concession stand open?Weather permitting the concession stand is open daily from Memorial Day weekend through September -- 11am - 8pm.
Are pop-up tents/tents allowed in the park and on the beach?Yes. Stakes for such tents must be 12" or less in length.
Can I have a fire on the beach?Yes. Please use the available fire rings. Open burning is prohibited.
Can I camp on the beach?No. There is no overnight parking or camping allowed.
Are floatation devices allowed in the water?The beach is unguarded and is swim at your own risk. Floatation devices are at your risk and responsibility.
Can I drive on to the beach?No. There are no vehicles allowed on the beach. Towing for anyone entering the beach unauthorized will be at vehicle owner's expense.
